Each customer business needs, their site power usage and system architecture are unique.

There is no such ‘one size fits all’ with Power Optimisation. Many other suppliers of Power Optimisation simply match the size of the voltage regulator to the size of the site master breaker switch. The danger of this approach is that in most cases the customer purchases a voltage regulator that is much larger and costs more than needed; and in certain cases proves disastrous if the site is using more power than the sites master breaker switch amperage setting.

VP Channel Partners use industrial certified power quality measurement to measure your sites unique power usage for 7 days. They then use this data with information of your last 12 months electricity usage to determine the maximum power usage. Then they examine the incoming range of voltage, Power Factor and Harmonic Distortion. Examining Power Factor and Harmonic Distortion indicates to the Channel Partner the efficiency of the existing electrical infrastructure of your site and helps identify electrical equipment ‘problem areas’ so that these can be addressed prior to the installation of any Power Optimisation equipment.

The above information collectively provides the projected site power requirement. VP recommends that the PropSava Power Optimisation System be built to the site maximum power requirement PLUS 20%. This additional power availability ensures that the site can expand its power usage for the future. However, the customer is always the final decision maker in the final sizing of the PropSava to ensure that the power sizing meets the customer needs for now and the future.

When the customer and Channel Partner have made the final decision on the Power Sizing of the PropSava, the data for the specification is sent to VP. VP then designs the system to meet the specific needs of the customer’s site.

This process of custom building and testing usually takes 4 to 5 weeks from order.
